Overview

Krea University, established in 2018 through an Act of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislature ^[4], is a private university located in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The university operates through two schools: the School of Interlinking Arts and Sciences (SIAS) for undergraduate and select graduate programs, and IFMR Graduate School of Business (IFMR GSB) for its MBA and related programs.

Krea enrolls approximately 900+ students across both schools, an estimated 600-700 at SIAS and 361 MBA students at IFMR GSB, with 12 Ph.D. scholars as of 2023-24 ^[2][7]. The university has approximately 90 faculty members at SIAS ^[5], giving it an estimated student-faculty ratio of around 7:1.

Sri City is primarily an industrial zone, which means the surrounding area has limited urban amenities. The campus is designed as a self-contained residential community with 800+ students across 4 years and 150+ faculty members ^[1]. Students typically travel to Chennai for city access.
